Ms. JangDhari was appointed as Director of the Miami VA Healthcare System in 2019, overseeing medical services for 60,000 Veterans in South Florida.
Prior to this appointment, she served as the Director of the West Texas VA Health Care System, Big Spring, Texas for three years and the Associate Director at the Orlando VA Medical Center, Orlando, Florida for four years. Ms. JangDhari began her VA career in 1993 as an Administrative Fellow at the VA Long Beach Health Care System and continued in progressive positions of responsibility at several VA medical facilities, including the network level, throughout Southern California.
In addition to her VA healthcare experience, she served as the National Director, Administrative Operations for VHA’s Employee Education System. Other appointments in her VA career include Network Operations Officer for the VA Desert Pacific Healthcare Network (VISN 22) in Long Beach, California and Associate Director of the VA Pacific Islands Health Care System, which included the Hawaiian Islands, American Samoa, Guam and Saipan.
Born and educated in Nashville, Tennessee, Ms. JangDhari is a graduate of Meharry Medical College with a Master of Science degree in Public Health, and a Tennessee State University graduate with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology.
