Ms. Titilola Olugbakinro began her VA career in 2008 at the New York Harbor VA Medical Center as a Chief Business Office (CBO) Technical Career Field Intern.
Since then, she has served in various leadership roles, including Chief of Health Administration Service (HAS), Chief Business Officer, and Group Practice Manager.
Ms. Olugbakinro has 26 years of experience in healthcare management and has successfully led multiple initiatives aimed at improving patient satisfaction, operational efficiency, and employee engagement. In 2023, she won VISN 8’s top Greenbelt project, which was later presented at the VISN 8 Improvement, Innovation & Safety Forum. She was also recognized by the VHA National Center for Organization Development for her outstanding leadership in managing hybrid teams, achieving high engagement, accountability, and communication scores.
Ms. Olugbakinro holds a Master’s degree in Public Administration with a concentration in Program Analysis and Policy Evaluation from Bernard M. Baruch College, City University of New York, and a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the College of Staten Island, City University of New York. She is Lean Six Sigma Greenbelt Certified, a VA mentor at the fellow level, a VHA Coaching Trainer, and is graduate of the Healthcare Leadership Development Program (2020A).
Beyond her VA career, she is actively involved in community service as the Chair of Modest Community Service Association, Inc., a board member of Samuel’s Call Inc., and a mentor for the Daughter of Zion, Women of Destiny organization.
With a passion for leadership, innovation, and service, Ms. Olugbakinro remains committed to enhancing Veteran care and supporting staff development at the Miami VA Healthcare System.
