The Minneapolis VA Healthcare System is excited to announce the rollout of new Ambient AI Scribe technology throughout our primary care clinics. This technology lets your clinician focus on you—not the keyboard—during your appointment.
Ambient AI Scribe is a secure, voice-based technology that automatically documents your medical visit in real time. After successful pilots at ten VA medical centers around the country, we are proud to be bringing the benefits of this technology to Veterans at the Minneapolis VA.
More time with your clinician. With AI Scribe assisting with documentation, your clinician can give you their full attention, leading to more meaningful, productive conversations about your health.
More accurate medical records. By capturing all the details of your visit, your medical record will also be more comprehensive than ever before. Your clinician reviews and updates all documentation for accuracy before saving it to your medical record.
You are in control. At each visit, your clinician will ask you for permission before activating the AI Scribe. You can opt out at any time and it will not affect the quality of your care.
Secure from start to finish. All data is handled in full compliance with HIPAA and VA security standards, and the audio recording is deleted automatically after 30 days.
