Judy Hayman, Ph.D. is the Executive Director at Montana VA Health Care System.

Dr. Hayman was appointed as the Montana VA Medical Center Director on June 23, 2019.

She has direct responsibility for the successful administration of the Medical Center's total financial and personnel resources (an operating budget of over $300 million). The Montana VA serves over 47,000 enrolled Veterans across 17 sites of care statewide including: one hospital at Fort Harrison, one Health Care Center, twelve Community Based Outpatient Clinics, one Primary Telehealth Outpatient Clinic, one 30-bed Community Living Center, and one Sleep Disorders Center. Fort Harrison VA Medical Center (VAMC) has a 29 authorized/18 operation bed acute care, medical/surgical facility which includes six Intensive Care Unit beds and offers a broad range of acute, chronic, and specialized inpatient & outpatient services for Veterans. Fort Harrison operates a 24-bed residential rehabilitation unit for PTSD and substance abuse treatment.

Dr. Hayman served as the Medical Center Director at the Syracuse VAMC from 2017-2019. Prior to that she was the Associate Medical Center Director at the Syracuse VAMC from 2012-2017. She also served as the Behavioral Health Care Line Manager beginning in January 2008 and as the Psychologist in the Polytrauma Program beginning in July 2006.

Dr. Hayman is Green Belt certified and achieved fellow status in the VHA Certified Mentor program. She is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives and the American Psychological Association.
