Dr. Sean Glasgow, MD, FACS, FASCRS is the Chief of Quality Management at James H. Quillen VA Medical Center
Dr. Glasgow holds an Academic Appointment with East Tennessee State University as a Clinical Professor of Surgery, and he serves in the USAF Reserves as IMA to the Commander within the USAF School of Aerospace Medicine.
He is an accomplished researcher, editor, and reviewer, and is a member of multiple professional societies and organizations including the American College of Surgeons, the American Society of Colon & Rectal Surgeons, and the American Board of Colon & Rectal Surgery.
Dr. Glasgow has held recent Leadership roles in various facility committees including, Patient Safety, OR Safety, and Surgery Service Patient Safety and Quality Improvement. Formerly the Chief of Surgery at JHQVAMC and has demonstrated superior leadership qualities.
