JHQVAMC employee named VA Chief Engineer of the Year

MOUNTAIN HOME, TN— The VA Office of Healthcare Engineering named Kevin Milliken, chief engineer at James H. Quillen VA Medical Center (JHQVAMC), the 2023 VA Chief Engineer of the Year as part of its annual program to recognize top-performing federal engineers.

Vietnam War Veterans honored at JHQVAMC

(MOUNTAIN HOME, Tenn.) —James H. Quillen VA Medical Center (JHQVAMC) recognized Vietnam Veterans March 29, 2023, to honor all who served on active duty in the U.S. Armed Forces at any time from Nov. 1, 1955, to May 15, 1975, regardless of location.

Joint Commission accredits JHQVAMC

MOUNTAIN HOME, Tenn. — Surveyors with The Joint Commission, a U.S.-based nonprofit organization that accredits health care organizations and programs around the world, again accredited James H. Quillen VA Medical Center following a survey Feb. 7-10, 2023, to review programs and operations.

JHQVAMC provided more than 230 permanent housing placements to homeless Veterans

(MOUNTAIN HOME, Tenn.) — As part of VA’s nationwide goal to house 38,000 homeless Veterans in 2022, James H. Quillen VA Medical Center (JHQVAMC) has provided 232 permanent housing placements to homeless Veterans.

VA Suicide Prevention team leads efforts supporting ECBN community
