(MOUNTAIN HOME, Tenn.) — As part of VA’s nationwide goal to house 38,000 homeless Veterans in 2022, James H. Quillen VA Medical Center (JHQVAMC) has provided 232 permanent housing placements to homeless Veterans.

(MOUNTAIN HOME, Tenn.) — Veteran Health Administration Office of Mental Health & Suicide Prevention recognized staff at James H. Quillen VA Medical Center (JHQVAMC) for work to address geographical barriers to care for Eastern Band of the Cherokee Nation (EBCN) Veterans.

MOUNTAIN HOME, Tenn.— VA Employee’s Association (VAEA) hosted its annual Trunk or Treat event October 14, 2022, open to employees at James H. Quillen VA Medical Center (JHQVAMC).

MOUNTAIN HOME, Tenn.— Employees at James H. Quillen VA Medical Center (JHQVAMC) collected more than 21,500 pounds of food as part of Veteran Administration’s annual Feds Feed Families (FFF) Food Drive campaign, exceeding last year’s amount by more than one thousand pounds.

(MOUNTAIN HOME, Tenn.) — The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) presented James H. Quillen VA Medical Center (JHQVAMC) the Excellence in Patient Experience Award during a ceremony Sept. 7, 2022, for its dedication and exceptional experience delivered to Veterans and employees.

The JHQVAMC increased access to care for Veterans by adding specialty care services to its Knoxville clinic network. The Knoxville VA Specialty Care Clinic opened July 18, 2022, and offers centralized specialty care in line with the VA’s commitment to providing quality care to our nation’s Veterans.
