Omaha VA Medical Center To Conduct Onboarding Surge Event

Omaha , NE — OMAHA— The Department of Veterans Affairs top priority as an organization is to hire employees to take care of America’s Veterans.

The Veterans Health Administration needs to hire 52,000 employees per year over the next five years to keep pace with the increased need for care and to maintain a healthy, vibrant workforce.

The Omaha VA Medical Center will conduct an Onboarding Surge Event today from 3 – 8 p.m. The event is intended to foster a strong, collaborative relationship between Human Resources, hiring managers and employees, as well as reducing the number of selectees waiting to finish pre-employment onboarding requirements.
