Brian Dyer is the Assistant Director for the North Florida/South Georgia Veterans Health System.

Mr. Dyer was a seasoned leader in environmental management with more than 25 years of distinguished service within the Department of Veterans Affairs. He previously served as Chief of Environmental Management Service (EMS), where he led critical initiatives to ensure safe, compliant, and high-performing healthcare environments. His leadership has been instrumental in advancing operational excellence and sustainability across VA facilities.

In addition to his operational roles, Mr. Dyer serves on the Director’s Advisory Board for VA Central Office Environmental Management, where he contributes strategic insight and guidance on national-level initiatives. In recognition of his impact and leadership, he was named the VA National EMS Chief of the Year in 2023.

Mr. Dyer is also a proud United States Marine Corps Veteran, bringing the values of discipline, integrity, and service to his leadership approach. His career reflects a deep commitment to supporting Veterans through safe and effective healthcare environments, as well as mentoring the next generation of leaders in environmental management.
