Mr. Stephen Dotts is the Associate Director for Operations for the North Florida/South Georgia Veterans Health System.

Dotts joins our organization from the Battle Creek VA Medical Center, where he has served as Assistant Director since November 2021.

A 10-year active-duty Veteran of the United States Navy, Mr. Dotts honorably served as an Aviation Maintenance Administrationman and Air Warfare Specialist (AZ1(AW)). He began his VA career in 2006 at the Battle Creek VA Medical Center as a without-compensation employee in Medical Administration Service and has since built a diverse portfolio of leadership experience.

Over the course of his career, Mr. Dotts has held numerous key roles, including Administrative Officer of the Day, Privacy/FOIA Officer, Controlled Substance Coordinator, Integrated Ethics Program Officer, Compliance and Business Integrity Officer, Supervisory Health System Specialist, and Assistant Director. His broad experience reflects a deep commitment to operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and ethical leadership.

Mr. Dotts is passionate about serving the nation’s Veterans, a commitment that continues to guide his leadership and dedication to delivering high-quality care and services.
