Risk Management and Compliance Service
The primary mission of the Risk Management and Compliance Service (RMCS) is to provide expert oversight and risk assessment to the VA Acquisition Community. RMCS specializes in the areas of OMB A-123 Acquisition Assessments; contract file review; debarment and suspension recommendation; protest assistance to contract specialists; administration of VA’s Subcontracting Compliance Review Program (SCRP), mistakes in bid assistance to contract specialists; acquisition training; task-order and delivery-order ombudsman complaints; and special projects for VA’s senior acquisition leadership
