What's Changed?

Rescinded/Inactive Acquisition/Procurement Related Information Letters

Purpose:  This Acquisition Policy Flash updates the list of rescinded/inactive acquisition/procurement related Information Letters (IL).  It also updates the points of contact for the Veterans Benefits Administration and Office of Acquisition Operations.

Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Impacted:  N/A

Effective Date:  Immediately

Background:  The Procurement Policy and Warrant Management Service has been conducting an extensive review of all VA acquisition/procurement related ILs.  The purpose of this review is to determine if the IL has expired or should be rescinded and replaced with a Procurement Policy Memorandum.

Applicability:  This notification is directed to the VA acquisition workforce.

Action Required:  To see the list of rescinded/inactive ILs, download the table.  As additional ILs are rescinded or are otherwise determined to be obsolete, this list will continue to be updated.

If access to a rescinded/inactive IL is required for VA business or research purposes, please contact the individual(s) listed below for your respective organization

NOTE:  Rescinded/inactive acquisition/procurement policy documents shall not be redistributed or recirculated.
