Medical/Surgical Prime Vendor-Next Generation (MSPV-NG) Bridge Program
MSPV-NG Bridge is a collection of contract vehicles that enable the Department of Veterans Affairs to streamline supply chain management for an array of Medical, Surgical, Dental, Lab, and Environmental Medical Supplies (EMS). The program achieves long term savings for VA Medical Centers by combining a “just in time” logistics approach with strategic sourcing and volume buying for Med-Surg supply needs. Item prices, prior to the application of the distribution fee, are published on the MSPV website. Forecasting, ordering and order status are accessible through contractually required supply chain management interfaces from the Prime Vendors. Use of the program is mandatory for all VA medical centers.
MSPV-NG Bridge Formulary
This listing [(12.4MB) as of 11/15/2020] reflects all products currently covered under the MSPV Bridge program. It will be updated as additional items are added to the Formulary.
The Medical Supply Progam Office (MSPO) will accept MSPV-NG Bridge Formulary change requests if there is outdated data and/or incorrect product information on the Formulary. For more information on how to request changes or additions to the Formulary, please see the Instructions Guide and Formulary Change Request Form. Please submit all requests for corrections to the Formulary management team.
Solicitations for the MSPV 2.0 Program are currently released via SAM.gov. Unsolicited requests are not being considered at this time. Future requests may be considered after award of the MSPV 2.0 supplier contract vehicles.
The Medical Supply Progam Office (MSPO) in close coordination with several Clinician-Led Integrated Product Teams and VHA Procurement are actively developing and releasing the solicitations for the items that will supply the Medical Surgical Prime Vendor (MSPV 2.0) Program. Competition is our default strategy; however, we continue to work with the Office of Small Disadvantaged Business Utilization (OSDBU) and the SBA to maximize opportunities for small business participation.
