Average Application Processing Time

To provide you with the length of time it will take to process an application and make a determination, read the following information.

The length of time necessary to provide a determination will vary based on:

  • Number of applications in process
  • Complexity of application
  • Whether site visit is necessary

The Center for Verification and Evaluation (CVE) seeks to complete all initial determinations within 60 days of receiving a complete application. Many applicants fail to provide all the required documents with their initial application submission.

CVE cannot initiate an examination until all required documents have been provided. The 60-day examination period does not begin until CVE receives a complete application. An application is considered complete when it is moved to the “Assessment Phase”; CVE will acknowledge receipt of a complete application by email to the address provided in the VetBiz Vendor Information Portal.
