Session 1: Welcome to Your New Job: Caregiver

Caregiving is often an unexpected and overwhelming role. We kick off the series by exploring what it truly means to become a caregiver. From the emotions of doubt and insecurity to the practical tasks of daily care, we’ll help you understand the full scope of the caregiving role. You’ll gain insight into why people step into this role and how to embrace the challenges and rewards of supporting a loved one. This session provides a foundation for managing the emotional and physical demands of caregiving, empowering you to take on your role with confidence.

The Caregiver’s Playbook is a comprehensive, four-part training series hosted by Guy Maytal, MD, Chief Medical Officer at Forge Health, and Natalie Elliott Handy, MSW, Co-Host of Confessions of a Reluctant Caregiver Podcast.
