The Phoenix VA Health Care System would like to congratulate our Veteran athletes who represented Arizona at the 2025 National Veterans Golden Age Games in Memphis, TN, May 30-June 6.
Phoenix collaborated with Tucson VA creating a team of 20 athletes, 17 from Phoenix which resulted in 10, first-year competitors who proudly brought home the most medals in the program's 12-year history. Together, they put the GOLD in the Golden Age Games, earning an impressive 51 awards, 42 of which were medals for first through third place, including 14 gold metals.
