Deputy Chief Operating Officer

Jim Tisdale is the Deputy Chief Operating Officer in the Procurement and Logistics Office (P&LO), with the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Veterans Health Administration (VHA), Washington, D.C. In this role, Jim provides support to the Executive Director P&LO, who manages a $335 million dollar budget and leads more than 3,000 contracting and logistic professionals. Jim guides the staff responsible for providing budget, human resources, and staff integration support for general day to day operations.

Jim has a wealth of leadership experience. He previously served as the Director of Business Operations & Resource Management and Chief of Staff for the contracting directorate at the Space and Missile Systems Center at Los Angeles Air Force Base.
