Welcome to the Office of Information and Technology (OIT) Process Asset Library Website

Pause1 Play1

To meet OIT’s goal to stabilize and streamline its core processes, the Quality Continuous Improvement Organization (QCIO) within the Compliance, Risk and Remediation (CRR) Office built and maintains an innovative process website called the Process Asset Library (PAL).

PAL is a change agent and an enabler of organizational learning – a window into OIT processes and workflows. PAL provides a flexible tool to communicate, implement, and align new processes with revised practices, new organizational structure, and governance. It is a one-stop shop that provides resources and critical links to approved processes, templates, supporting and guiding policies, and standards. Designed to assist individuals across OIT, it delivers quality products and services.

PAL promotes accountability by clearly defining roles and responsibilities. When using the PAL as part of your daily work, the OIT workforce can be confident they are complying with current standards, best practices, and policies. Additionally, the PAL assists with identifying innovative opportunities which lead to improving current operations. During continuous process improvement activities, innovative practices and/or tools may be inserted in the PAL content; these innovations save time and dollars and improve quality.

PAL information and content are available to users based on their VA System’s Access Permission. For those users with Full VA Access Permission, the PAL INTRANET site is the preferred tool to view, search and download all PAL processes and related supporting documentation. Those users without full access permission can use the PAL INTERNET to view process maps on the website, request copies of documents or process information, receive support, and submit questions related to the PAL content by contacting CRR.

If you have questions, need more information, or are having accessibility problems with this website, please contact us by E-Mail at OITCRRQCIO@va.gov.
