As part of VA Providence’s Go Red for Women initiative, VA Providence, in partnership with the Providence Vet Center, will host Heart Art for Women Veterans on Friday, Feb. 13, from 10 to 11:30 a.m. This creative painting session offers a supportive space for self-expression, stress reduction and connection with fellow Women Veterans.
An instructor from the Providence Art Club will guide participants through the painting experience, while heart health resources and education will be shared by Joanne Barrett, VA Providence Women Veterans Program Manager. The event blends creativity and cardiovascular awareness in support of Women Veterans throughout Heart Month.
