VA Providence Director Lawrence Connell recently sat down with NBC 10’s Barbara Morse to discuss the facility’s outstanding 94.9% Veteran Satisfaction Score for April 2025—one of the highest in the nation.

In the interview, Director Connell emphasized that this score reflects more than just a number—it’s a testament to the trust Veterans place in the care they receive at VA Providence. “It’s about compassionate, high-quality care delivered by a team that shows up every day with purpose,” Connell said.

Barbara Morse also noted that VA Providence is one of only two hospitals in the entire state of Rhode Island to receive a 4-star or higher satisfaction rating from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services.

The segment spotlighted how Veteran feedback directly shapes improvements in access, service, and outcomes—and how trust remains the foundation of everything we do.
