A new Disabled American Veterans (DAV) transportation vehicle, generously donated by Philip H. Zifcak and family, will help ensure that local Veterans have reliable access to their appointments at the VA Providence Healthcare System.

Despite the rain, DAV leaders, VA Providence leadership, and staff gathered outside to celebrate the meaningful donation and recognize its lasting impact on the Veteran community.

The new vehicle will be used to transport Veterans across Rhode Island and southeastern Massachusetts, removing a major barrier to care for those without personal transportation. The donation represents a continued partnership between DAV and VA Providence in advancing the shared mission of caring for those who served.
