Food & Community: Veterans Café Warms Hearts in Woonsocket
Veterans hear about the resources available to them during the Vet Cafe.

VA Providence was proud to attend this week’s Veterans Café at the St. Joseph’s Veterans Association in Woonsocket, hosted by the Rhode Island Office of Veterans Services and Meals on Wheels of Rhode Island.
The event brought together Veterans aged 65 and older for warm coffee, good food, and even better conversation.
Our enrollment team was on hand to answer questions, provide resources, and connect local Veterans with the care and benefits they’ve earned. Events like these help combat isolation, build community, and remind Veterans they are never alone.
