This week, VA Providence Women Veteran Program Manager Joanne Barrett visited the Rhode Island Veterans Home in Bristol to connect with the remarkable Women Veterans residing there.
Joanne spent time speaking one-on-one with residents, listening to their stories, answering questions, and sharing information about VA benefits, services, and resources tailored specifically for Women Veterans. Her visit reflects VA Providence’s ongoing commitment to ensuring that every Veteran—regardless of era, branch, or background—feels seen, heard, and supported. We are proud to stand beside these trailblazing women and grateful for the opportunity to continue serving those who served.
