A Providence Women Veterans Program Manager Joanne Barrett attended the annual Wreath Laying Ceremony at the Women Veterans Monument at the Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery.
The solemn event paid tribute to the courage and contributions of women who have worn the uniform throughout history.
Barrett joined fellow Veterans, family members, and community leaders in honoring those who paved the way for future generations of women in service.
The ceremony included remarks celebrating the strength, resilience, and patriotism of women who have served across every branch of the U.S. Armed Forces.
