Director Lawrence Connell and members of the VA Providence outreach team attended the Regional VA Veterans Day Ceremony at Bristol Community College (BCC), hosted by the college’s Joseph A. Marshall Veterans Center.

The event brought together Veterans, students, and community members in a moving ceremony that paid tribute to all who served.

Speakers included BCC President Dr. Sedgwick L. Harris, Director of the Joseph A. Marshall Veterans Center Denny Cosmo, and Naval Aviator Justin Hsu, who delivered inspiring remarks about dedication, resilience, and the power of education for Veterans returning to civilian life. The he Sons of Union Veterans of the Civil War Color Guard offered a powerful cannon salute to close the ceremony.

Director Connell and the VA Providence outreach team connected with attendees, sharing information about VA health care, enrollment, and resources available to Veterans and their families in the region.
