Inaugural New Patient Orientation Welcomes Veterans

VA Providence hosted its first New Patient Orientation, designed to help Veterans new to the VA system understand the resources and services available to them.
Staff walked attendees through enrollment, primary care, specialty clinics, mental health services, research opportunities, and Whole Health programs. Veterans met members of their care teams, toured the facility, and received information packets with contact numbers and guides to VA benefits. The orientation provided Veterans with confidence and clarity as they begin their health care journey at VA Providence.
