Lifeblood of Service: VA Providence Heroes Answer the Call
A single donation can save up to three lives, and VA Providence called on staff, Veterans, and community members to step up at our Be a Hero: Blood Drive.
With the need for blood donations always high, participants rolled up their sleeves to support fellow Veterans and those in need. Thanks to their generosity, the drive collected 32 donations—potentially saving up to 96 lives.
The event not only boosted critical blood supplies but also reinforced the strength of the VA Providence community—proving once again that small acts of service can have a lifesaving impact.
A huge thank you to VA Providence’s Jennifer Koziol for organizing this event and to the Rhode Island Blood Center for their partnership in making it a success!
