VA Providence hosted the “New Year, Stronger You” outreach event on Jan. 7, bringing Veterans together at the Downey Weaver American Legion Post in Charlestown to start the year informed, supported and connected.

The evening focused on VA enrollment, benefits and available resources, providing Veterans and their families with one-on-one support and guidance in a relaxed, community-centered setting. Attendees had the opportunity to ask questions, learn more about eligibility, and better understand how VA Providence can support their health and well-being in the year ahead.

Events like this underscore VA Providence’s commitment to meeting Veterans where they are—both geographically and personally—by partnering with trusted community organizations and creating accessible spaces for engagement.

As 2026 gets underway, VA Providence remains focused on strengthening connections, improving access to care and ensuring Veterans have the information they need to take charge of their health.
