This past weekend, VA Providence brought critical information and support directly to Veterans in Washington County by hosting a successful PACT Act outreach event at the Westerly Elks Lodge.

Veterans, their families, and caregivers gathered to learn more about the PACT Act — the most significant expansion of VA health care and benefits in generations — and how it impacts them. Our enrollment, eligibility, and claims teams were on hand to answer questions, assist with filing claims, and help Veterans understand their eligibility under the new law.

The event highlighted the importance of early enrollment and encouraged Veterans who served in Vietnam, the Gulf War, and post-9/11 eras to come forward and get the care and benefits they’ve earned.

Special thanks to the Westerly Elks Lodge for their hospitality and to all the Veterans who took the time to join us. Outreach events like this are part of our ongoing commitment to meet Veterans where they are — because at VA Providence, we serve those who served.
