This past weekend, VA Providence hit the road to bring vital PACT Act information directly to Veteran in Smithfield, Rhode Island, hosting an outreach event that saw over 50 Veterans in attendance.

The event provided a key opportunity for Veterans to learn about expanded healthcare and benefits under the PACT Act, with multiple attendees enrolling in VA healthcare and filing claims on-site.

This outreach effort underscores VA Providence’s commitment to ensuring every eligible Veteran has access to the care and benefits they have earned. Events like this help bridge the gap for Veterans who may not otherwise engage with VA services, and our team was on hand to provide guidance and direct assistance every step of the way.

A special thank-you to the Smithfield Elks Lodge for their generous hospitality in providing the space for this important event. Their support helped create an environment where Veterans felt welcome and empowered to take the next steps in their VA journey.
