Rally for Care: Cape Cod Stand Down for Veterans

The VA Providence Healthcare System proudly supported the 8th Annual Cape Cod Stand Down for Veterans on Friday, Oct. 17, at the Cape Cod Irish Village.
Hosted by the Cape & Islands Veterans Outreach Center, the event brought together Veterans, community partners, and organizations dedicated to serving those who served.
VA Providence staff were on-site to provide information on enrollment, health care, and mental health resources to Veterans across the region.
The event featured a patriotic opening ceremony, health and wellness services, legal aid, and employment assistance—all free to Veterans. Stand Downs like this ensure that every Veteran, including those experiencing homelessness or hardship, receives access to essential care and benefits.
