This week, Director Lawrence Connell and Dr. Noah Philip were interviewed by Barbara Morse of WJAR NBC 10, discussing Dr. Philip’s recent trip to Ukraine where he trained healthcare professionals on Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS).
Dr. Philip shared insights from his experience teaching this innovative, non-invasive treatment used to support Veterans and others experiencing PTSD and depression. Director Connell highlighted the importance of VA’s leadership in advancing global mental health care and the expertise of VA Providence’s research team.
