VA Providence's Health Teaching Kitchen: Cooking Up Savings Without Sacrificing Health

VA Providence’s Healthy Teaching Kitchen program hosted “Healthy Eating Without Breaking the Bank,” a class focused on cost-effective ways to prepare nutritious meals.
Staff nutrition experts guided participants through budget-friendly shopping strategies and healthy cooking techniques to support overall wellness.
The class was part of VA Providence’s ongoing effort to equip Veterans with practical skills for maintaining a healthy diet on a budget. By combining education with hands-on demonstrations, the team empowered attendees to make informed choices that benefit both their health and their finances.
