What is a Cable Gun Lock?

A cable gun lock is a flexible, steel cable (often coated in plastic) with a secure locking mechanism. It’s threaded through the firearm’s action, often the ejection port or chamber, to prevent it from being loaded or fired. Once locked, it physically disables the gun, making it inoperable until removed. It’s a simple, effective, and potentially life-saving tool of safety at home.
