Roseburg , OR — Roseburg VA Health Care System is pleased to announce that both the COVID-19 vaccine and the flu vaccine are now available at our facilities and vaccine clinics.

Where are vaccines available?

Enrolled Veterans may access vaccines during scheduled VA Primary Care visits; or 

Vaccination clinics - no appointment is needed

Roseburg VA Medical Center, Drive-thru Vaccine Clinic, Building 1 Canopy
Saturdays: October 19 and November 2, from 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
Wednesdays: October 2, October 9, and October 23 from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.

Eugene VA Health Care Center, Walk-In Lobby
Saturdays: October 5, October 19, and November 2 from 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
Tuesdays: October 1 thru October 29 from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.
Thursday: October 3 thru October 24 from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.

Brookings VA Clinic, Walk-In:
Thursdays: 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.

North Bend VA Clinic, Walk-In:
Tuesdays: 8:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.
Thursdays: 12:30 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.

What vaccines are currently available at RVAHCS? 

Influenza Fluzone (High-Dose): Recommended for individuals 65 years and older*
Influenza Flaurix (standard Dose): Recommended for individuals under 65 years old
COVID-19 Vaccine: Moderna

Who is eligible to receive a vaccine at RVAHCS? 

All Veterans enrolled in VA Health Care

Access vaccines through Community Care Network 

Access a free flu vaccine at an in-network Community Care Network location using the following directions. There is no cost or copay to you if your visit is only for a flu or COVID-19 vaccine. For assistance with in-network community flu or COVID-19 vaccines, call 877-881-7618.

Before you go: 

  • Call to ensure the urgent care provider or retail pharmacy offers the no-cost flu and COVID-19 vaccines to Veterans
  • Ask about the vaccine type you are seeking (some flu vaccines are for people aged 65 and older)
  • Bring the billing information located here (print it or take a screenshot on your phone)

When you arrive:

  • Tell the provider you are a Veteran enrolled in VA Health Care
  • Tell them you would like to receive the flu and or COVID-19 vaccine paid for by VA
  • Show your government-issued ID and the billing information located here
