Aleda E. Lutz VAMC hosting a PACT Act Claims Clinic on April 12, 2023 Veterans Encouraged to Attend

Saginaw , MI — Aleda E. Lutz VA Medical Center, 1500 Weiss Street, Saginaw, MI, will hold a PACT Act Claims Clinic on April 12, 2023, from 11:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. in the Pavilion, located at the north parking lot.

The PACT Act Claims Clinic will offer information and Toxic Exposure Screenings to Veterans who are currently enrolled, on a first come, first serve basis. It is highly recommended Veterans complete the Burn Pit Registry prior to attending: www.publichealth.va.gov/exposures/burnpits/registry.asp. Please bring your DD214, Certificate of Release or Discharge from Active Duty.

Any Veteran who attends and does not get the Toxic Exposure Screening during the PACT Act Claims Clinic will either receive a scheduled appointment or will be given information on how to schedule one.  Veterans Benefits Administration Representatives, as well as Veteran Service Officers, will also be available to talk about Toxic Exposure claims or other benefits information.

Veterans who are not currently enrolled with the VA will have the opportunity to talk with staff to learn more about the PACT Act, enroll, or receive information to enroll in VA healthcare. Toxic Exposure Screening will not be available unless the Veteran is already enrolled.

If you are unable to attend this event, and are not currently enrolled in VA health care, please contact Eligibility at 989-497-2500, Ext. 13120 or 13121. If you are already enrolled in VA health care and cannot attend, please contact your Primary Care Team to schedule a Toxic Exposure Screening.
