Quad Rugby Experience

On Friday, March 28, 2025, Heidi Nadobny, a Recreational Therapist from the Community Living Center, hosted an Adaptive Quad Rugby clinic for Veterans at the Aleda E. Lutz VA Medical Center.
The event celebrated the spirit of resilience and camaraderie while showcasing the transformative power of inclusive sports in the lives of our Veterans. Thanks to the generous support of Michigan Sports Unlimited, a non-profit organization, Heidi and her team orchestrated various adaptive sporting events throughout the year. These activities, including quad rugby demonstrations and hand cycling clinics, promote accessible recreation and foster a sense of community.
