Ms. Crowder is a Nurse Practitioner in the Endocrinology Department.
My passion for veterans began early — I’m the granddaughter of a Korean War veteran. In 2008 I met my husband while he was serving in the Marine Corps, and since then I’ve had the privilege of being an active-duty military wife and a friend to many military families and spouses. I’ve worked in healthcare across the Roanoke and New River Valleys since 2005, caring for patients of every age from infancy to end-of-life. In 2023 I joined the VA to care for our nation’s most honorable patients and working at Salem VHA has been the highlight of my career.
