Alok Trivedi MD

Dr. Trivedi previously served as Chief Health Informatics Officer and Acting Chief of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine. Throughout his distinguished career with the Salisbury VA Health Care System, he has held numerous leadership roles, including Deputy Chief of Staff, Acting Medical Director of the Charlotte Health Care Center, Assistant Chief of Primary Care, and Staff Primary Care Provider.

A board-certified Family Medicine physician, Dr. Trivedi continues to provide direct patient care in Urgent Care at the Charlotte Health Care Center. During his 16 years of service with the Department of Veterans Affairs, he has demonstrated an unwavering commitment to advancing Veteran care through innovation, health informatics, systems redesign, and operational excellence.

Dr. Trivedi completed the VA Health Informatics Certificate Program through the American Medical Informatics Association (AMIA) and is a graduate of the VA Health Care Leadership Development Program (HCLDP). His leadership and expertise have earned national recognition for contributions to the implementation and advancement of the Patient Aligned Care Team (PACT) model, helping transform the delivery of primary care across the Veterans Health Administration.

As Interim Chief of Staff, Dr. Trivedi brings a proven record of clinical leadership, strategic vision, and dedication to improving quality, access, and outcomes for the Veterans we are privileged to serve.
