New Check-in Process

Check-in QR

We are excited to announce our new Patient Check in Tool (PCI), which has replaced the kiosks. We appreciate how instrumental the kiosks have been in providing you with quality care but when the contract for the kiosks ends in September it will not be renewed.

Effective immediately, you will no longer be able to use the kiosks to check-in for appointments, but you will still be able to use them to access a list of your appointments and update your demographics.

In preparation for this transition, our dedicated staff have set up signs at each of our facilities that provide instructions on how to use the new PCI tool to check-in to your appointment.

The new tool has two steps—examples of each one can be found below. This process provides you the opportunity to confirm your demographics and check-in for your appointment without the hassle of standing in line. If you are unable to use the process outlined below, you will still be able to check in at the front desk with a clerk.

The first step is the “Pre-Check-in” text message, which will be delivered to your phone through our VEText System. This step provides you with an opportunity to verify demographic information ahead of your visit. Approximately three days before your appointment, you will receive a reminder and be provided the option to confirm, cancel, or request details. Once you confirm your appointment, you will be sent another message with a link that you’ll click on to start the process of updating your demographic information. Please keep in mind that using this option does not check you into your appointment and you will still need to check-in on the day of your appointment with a clerk or by using step two.

The second step requires you to text the words “check in” to 53079 or to scan a QR code once you arrive to the facility. There are signs at each of our facilities that include information about this step. This allows you to conveniently check in for your appointment without having to stand in line. If you choose to use this feature, the earliest you will be able to check in for your appointment is 30 minutes prior.

If you have questions about this new process, please dial 727-398-6661 and press 2. Follow the prompts to access a list of your appointments, confirm the location of your appointment, or speak with your PACT clerk.

Thank you for your service to our Nation and we look forward to continuing to provide you with the level of care that you’ve earned and deserve.
