Join a team from the Casper VA Clinic to view 8 short films from the About Face documentary series. These films highlight stories from military sexual trauma (MST) survivors who recount their struggles and triumphs from their experiences.
"I never felt safe.”
"My relationships were severely distorted.”
"It felt good to be believed and just to give it to somebody else.”
Stay after the showing for a panel discussion and Q&A with VA and community providers to discover different pathways to healing.
This educational opportunity was arranged as part of Sexual Assault Awareness and Prevention Month.
Trigger warning: the films contain descriptions of sexual violence, domestic violence, substance use, and suicidal ideation.
