Ms. Grindstaff serves as Associate Director, Patient Care Services at VA Sierra Nevada Health Care System.
Ms. Grindstaff previously served as Chief Nurse Primary Care and Community Medicine at James H. Quillen VA Medical Center in Johnson City, TN. Her service to the Veterans Health Administration began in 2009. Ms. Grindstaff has served as manager of Medical/Surgical unit, telemetry unit and discharge planners. Ms. Grindstaff has a wide variety of direct nursing experience over the past 25 years.
Ms. Grindstaff holds a Master of Science in Nursing Health Care Administration and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing both from East Tennessee State University. She is a graduate of VISN 9 Leadership Institute and VHA Health Care Leadership Development Program. Ms. Grindstaff is a member of the American College of Health Care Executives and VA ACHE Regent Advisory Council Professional Development Subcommittee. She is a VHA certified mentor as well as VA LEAN Black Belt Program Certified. Ms. Grindstaff also holds ANCC Nurse Executive Board Certification.
