Mr. David Parker is the Associate Director for Operations for the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), South Texas Veterans Health Care System (STVHCS).
Mr. Parker brings more than 30 years of distinguished leadership experience across both military and civilian healthcare systems. He has served as COO for major Army medical centers, including Brooke Army Medical Center and Eisenhower Army Medical Center, and most recently held senior executive roles with WellMed, where he led multi‑market operations across Texas.
He holds a Master of Health Administration from Texas A&M University and is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives. Throughout his career, he has demonstrated a deep commitment to service, integrity, and delivering high‑value care to those who serve and have served.
