  • Seven years ago, the Arizona Transportation Builders Association (ATB) in Tucson, Ariz. started a donation drive to support Veterans. On Wednesday, July 9, the ATB donated a large quantity of clothing items, food, and hygiene products to the Tucson VA's Patriot Pantry and Homeless Veteran Program.

  • The National Creative Arts Festival, co-hosted by the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) and the American Legion Auxiliary, recently concluded in Indianapolis, providing a stage for Veterans from diverse backgrounds to showcase their artistic talents and connect over shared experiences.

  • Dr. Arthur Evensen, a podiatric surgical resident at the Southern Arizona VA Health Care System (SAVAHCS), was awarded the VA Outstanding Employee award by the Arizona Veterans Hall of Fame Society (AVHOFS).

  • U.S. Air Force Veteran Jerry Rowe has immortalized the story of Sahuarita through the pages of his self-authored book. Rowe donated a copy of "A History of Sahuarita" to Mayor Tom Murphy, ensuring a treasured glimpse into the town's past will be preserved for future generations.
