National Salute to Veterans Week Events Feb 9-13

The National Salute to Veteran Patients Week is an annual event held the week of February 14th (Feb. 8–14, 2026) to honor veterans receiving care at Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) medical centers.
The National Salute to Veteran Patients Week is an annual event held the week of February 14th (Feb. 8–14, 2026) to honor veterans receiving care at Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) medical centers. Initiated in 1978, it encourages community engagement, volunteering, and sending Valentine's cards to veterans.
VASNHS Center for Development and Civic engagement is hosting several events from Feb. 9-13 in recognition of National Salute to Veterans Patients Week.
Plan on attending one of our events to thank a Veteran patient:
- Feb 9 - Outpatient thanks - Southeast Clinic 11a.m.
- Feb 10 - Intpatient Visitation- North Las Vegas VA Medical Center 7:30 a.m.
- Feb 11 - Outpatient thanks - Southwest Clinic 11:30 a.m.
- Feb 12 - Outpatient thanks - Pahrump Clinic 11:00 a.m.
- Feb 13 - Outpatient thanks - Northwest Clinic 11:00 a.m.
- Feb 13 - Intpatient Visitation- North Las Vegas VA Medical Center 9:00 a.m.
- Feb 13 - Congressional Visit/Cards for Outpatients at Entrances- North Las Vegas VA Medical Center 9:00 a.m.
