As we celebrate the centennial anniversary of research in the VA, the theme for National VA Research Week 2025 is: 100 Years of Research.

As we celebrate the centennial anniversary of research in the VA, the theme for National VA Research Week 2025 is: 100 Years of Research. This year, Research Week will be observed May 12-16. This year VA celebrates the 100th Anniversary of VA Research, including a special live-streamed Research Week award presentation recognizing six significant investigators, May 13, from 10 a.m. -12 p.m.  The ceremony showcases VA’s efforts to provide Veterans with the best possible care and latest health science developments, leading into Research Week events at local VA facilities nationwide. We invite you to join in celebrating the VA researchers and staff who have contributed to some of the most significant medical breakthroughs in history, and all those who continue to add to that incredible legacy.

VASNHS is hosting a Research Week poster presentation and scientific round table event on May 14 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the VA Medical Center. VA, local educators, and community researchers will present and discuss best practices and research from across the continuum of care.
