Dr. David Sams was appointed as Chief of Staff in March 2021.
Dr. Sams received his medical degree from University of Washington, Seattle, WA in 1992 and completed his residency training through University of Washington Family Medicine Residency in Spokane, Washington in 1995. Dr. Sams served as Primary Care Clinic Director, Chief of Primary Care, and Deputy Chief of Staff at Mann-Grandstaff VA Medical Center from 2015-2021. Prior to joining Mann-Grandstaff VA Medical Center, he practiced in the Spokane community.
