Dr. Patricia “Patty” Hendrickson, DNP, RN, FACHE, CPHQ assumed her position as Associate Director Patient Care Services in April 2015.
Dr. Hendrickson joined the VA St. Louis Health Care System in January 2004. She was appointed Chief, Quality and Performance Management Service in January 2008.
Dr. Hendrickson has more than 45 years of nursing experience from both the community and within the VA, including as a staff nurse, nurse manager, and Executive Director in cardiology, critical care, administration, quality management and medical staff functions.
She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Syracuse University, her Master of Science in Nursing in Cardiopulmonary Nursing from Saint Louis University, and Doctor of Nursing Practice from the University of Missouri, in St. Louis. She is a Fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives and Board Certified as a Nurse Executive, in Evidence Based Practice and in Healthcare Quality. Dr. Hendrickson serves as a co-chair for the National EHRM Bed Management Council.
