Flu shot season

The flu season is upon us. It's important to stay protected.
Walk-in clinics
Veterans can get a flu shot at their primary or specialty care appointments now. Veterans may also walk-in during the following times:
- Nashville: Monday-Friday 8 a.m.-3:30 p.m., POD C
- Murfreesboro: Monday-Friday 7 a.m.-3:30 p.m., UCC Lobby by the Alvin C. York bust
- Albion: Monday-Friday 7:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m.
- Athens: Monday-Friday 9 a.m.-3:00 p.m. (except Wednesday afternoons)
- Bowling Green: Wednesdays 1-3 p.m.
- Charlotte Ave: Monday-Friday 7:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m., First Floor Primary Care
- Chattanooga: Monday-Friday 9 a.m.-3 p.m. (except Wednesday afternoons)
- Clarksville: Monday-Friday 8 a.m.-3:30 p.m., Lobby and Drive-Up Clinic also available in the Southeast corner of the building from 8 a.m.-12 p.m. (weather permitting)
- Columbia: Monday-Friday 7:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m.
- Cookeville: Monday-Friday 8 a.m.-4 p.m.
- Dover: Monday-Friday 8 a.m.-3:30 p.m.
- Ft. Campbell: Monday-Friday 8 a.m.-3:30 p.m.
- Gallatin: Monday-Friday 7:30 a.m.-4 p.m. (last appointment at 3:30 p.m.)
- Hopkinsville: Monday-Friday 7:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m.
- International Plaza: Monday-Friday 7:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m., Third Floor Waiting Area
- Roane County: Monday-Friday 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m.
Additionally, Veterans can get their pneumonia vaccine while getting their flu shot. Ask your health care team to get protected against pneumonia.
Veterans can also get a free flu shot through an authorized community care provider. Visit the flu shot locator for a complete list of where you can get a free flu shot. Please remember to let your VA health care team know when you got your flu shot so we can add it to your health record.
