If you are attending the hiring far at the Alvin C. York Medical Center, the fair will be in Building 4, room G101. The hospital is located at 3400 Lebanon Rd, Murfreesboro, TN 37129. You can park near Building 4 and an ambassador in a red coat will help you.
Questions? We've got some answers:
Q: I'm interested in a different position but it's not listed for this event. Can I still attend?
A: Veterans are more than welcome to drop off their resume with an HR specialist if they are interested in a different position than the ones listed above. We cannot guarantee that you'll be interviewed the day-of but an HR specialist will be glad to answer any questions. You can also apply for our openings at usajobs.gov or send your resume to TVHS-Careers@va.gov.
Q: Is this event really only for Veterans? Can Veteran spouses apply? Anyone else?
A: This career fair is for Veterans only. The only positions open to the public are nursing assistants and medical support assistants. However, we are more than happy to accept resumes from the general public especially for nursing assistant and medical support assistant positions.
Q: I really want to apply but I cannot attend. What can I do?
A: Email the required documents listed above to TVHS-Careers@va.gov.
